Over 4 years, I have been fascinated by sounds at
Templeton's Crossing and Eora Creek campsites
in the night hours.
It sounded like pairs of birds calling like a transmitter.
da da da da da da da and its mate calling da da da da
da all night.
On the last trek I told the trekkers to listen to the birds.
The porters told me it was rats. Ah rats!!
Last week, I met a group of bird watchers at the Holiday
Inn. I asked them. They said it was a pair of frogs. I still
think it is a pair of birds. What do you folk think?
